Hulu Scraps Planned Ghost Rider Series Over Creative Issues

Looks like Robbie Reyes won’t ride again (for now), as the planned Ghost Rider series at Hulu has been scrapped. Deadline reports that Hulu decided not to move forward with the series after reaching a creative impasse with the show’s team that couldn’t be worked through. Details on exactly what the impasse involved were not revealed.

Gabriel Luna was set to reprise his role as Robbie in the series, which he played on Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC. The series would have seen Robbie head “to Texas-Mexico border and when he unleashes the Ghost Rider he brings vengeance for the innocents he encounters, but struggles to control the power he wields. ”

Hulu is still moving forward with all other Marvel properties, including Helstrom.
