IT: Welcome to Derry Teaser Trailer Goes Back To Where the Terror Began

HBO debuted the official teaser for IT: Welcome to Derry, the new prequel television series for IT and IT Chapter Two. You can check out the newly revealed teaser trailer below.

Welcome to Derry is set in the world of Stephen King’s IT Universe and is based on his original novel. It will expand the vision by filmmaker Andy Muschietti from his earlier IT features. The series stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård, who reprises his role as the terrifying Pennywise, aka IT.

The series is developed for television by filmmakers Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. It will debut on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max later this fall. Andy Muschietti directs multiple episodes of the original series. Fuchs wrote the teleplay for the first episode and serves as co-showrunner for the project with Brad Caleb Kane. The series is executive produced by Fuchs, Kane, David Coatsworth, Skarsgård, Shelley Meals, Roy Lee, and Dan Lin.
