J.K. Simmons made a big splash when he had a surprise reprisal of his role as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and he says more Jonah on the way. Simmons spoke with THR and said that we can expect to see more of the character in the MCU at least two more times.

“Well yeah [I’ll be back as Jonah], that’s the short answer,” Simmons said. “There is a future for J. Jonah Jameson after a several-year hiatus. He showed up very briefly for those who were wise enough to stay through the credits of Far from Home … There is one more JJJ appearance in the can, and from what I’m hearing there’s a plan for yet another. So hopefully JJJ will continue now and forever.”

It’s not yet known which film Jonah will appear in that is already filmed, though it should be noted that Sony has already wrapped production on Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Morbius, both of which have obvious Spidey connections. Those films’ MCU ties are tenuous at best right now though. It’s also possible that he could be in Black Widow or that he has already filmed a scene to appear un the upcoming Eternals or another film.

It would make sense that Jonah’s one other coming up be the third Spider-Man film, but that is also not confirmed.
