James Gunn Announces Superman Is ‘100% Done’

James Gunn has fully locked the upcoming Superman film, revealing that the film is “100% done.” Gunn posted to his Threads account on Friday to announce that the film is completed, writing:

“Our last visual effect shot has been finished and dropped into Superman. We are now 100% done. Thanks to all my collaborators! It has been a joy.

And for the rest of you – I can’t wait for you to see the movie July 11.”

The film, which relaunches the DC Universe, is written and directed by Gunn. It stars David Corenswet at Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Wendell Pierce, María Gabriela de Faría, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. The film opens on July 11th.
