During last night’s showcase event at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Marvel Studios debuted the official trailer for the new TV series, VisionQuest. The upcoming series marks the return of Paul Bettany as Vision, who appeared onstage at the Honda Center in Anaheim, joined by James Spader, who reprises his role as Ultron.

Spader, Bettany, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige debuted the first look at the trailer (see below) plus a new poster for the series, which debuts on Disney+ in October. The new series is being promoted as the conclusion of the trilogy that began in 2021 with WandaVision, and continued in 2024 with Agatha All Along.

In the new Disney+ series, the rebooted Vision has been in hiding and searching for new meaning. He consults the AI personas embedded in him, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron.

His discreet existence soon ends when a bounty is placed on his head, putting him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be the Vision’s son. As Vision looks to avoid capture, he must confront his nature, Ultron’s influence, and unravel the enigma of his young companion if he is to survive.
