Javicia Leslie Shares First Look In Costume as New Batwoman, Teases Updated Costume

Javicia Leslie is set to take over the role of Batwoman for the CW show’s second season, and has shared the first look at her all suited up. Leslie posted to Instagram with a pic of her wearing Kate Kane’s suit as Batwoman, though she noted that her successor to Kate, Ryan Wilder, will have “her own spin” on the suit.
Leslie was announced as the new lead actress, replacing Ruby Rose who left the show after its first season concluded. Rose has since explained that her decision to leave was sparked by the on-set back injury that made it more difficult than she anticipated to be the lead in the series.
Batwoman returns for its second season early next year.
