If The Rock’s Black Adam wants some, he can happily get some from the Peacemaker, as John Cena tells it. Cena is about to make his DCEU debut as Peacemaker in The Suicide Squad, which opens on August 6th in theaters and on HBO Max, and the wrestler/actor told that he’s up for an on-screen battle with Black Adam, who is played by his longtime WWE rival Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Cena would not say if Peacemaker would be able to defeat Black Adam, saying “Please tell me [Rock’s] answer.” (For the record: Sorry John, he probably would not.) He did say he’d be very willing to play it out though.

“You know me,” Cena said when asked if he’d be up to tangling with his WrestleMania 28 and 29 opponent. “Ready, willing, and able. And answering the phone whenever it rings. I’m good. I think that the excitement is starting to build with fans, whether you talk about the conversation of Fast [& Furious], or you talk about now the DC Universe. I don’t want to say we’re on a crash course and it’s inevitable. I want to, because I’m a fan. But we’ll see. We’ll see what happens.”
