Jon Favreau is right back at work on his Star Wars series for Disney+, The Mandalorian, as he begins writing season two. Favreau told Jimmy Kimmell Live that he is working on the scripts for season two of the upcoming series.

It’s worth noting that as of right now, the show has not had a renewal announced. It has not even debuted yet of course; it will launch when Disney+ debuts on November 12th.

The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. Pedro Pascal stars as a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy, joined by Gina Carano who plays Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper, having trouble re-integrating herself into society; and Carl Weathers as Greef, a man who heads a guild of bounty hunters that hires The Mandalorian for a specific job.

Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte also star in the show, which Favreau is executive producing and showrunning.
