Marvel hasn’t forgotten about Deadpool, and Kevin Feige has revealed that they have a tentative release window for the third film. Feige spoke with ComicBook.com and revealed that work on Deadpool 3 is moving along well and that a release window is tentatively set.

“We do,” the Marvel Studios boss said when asked about a release window. “The script is in the works and Ryan is working very hard on it with our writers as we speak.”

The film is currently being written by Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin (Bob’s Burgers), who are working with Reynolds to develop it. The film’s connection to its previous entries is unclear, considering it is expected to be part of the MCU.

The franchise has grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide between its first two entries. The film is expected to be rated R when it releases and will see Reynold’s reprise his role as the titular character.
