Warning: Spoilers follow for Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage got a lot of fans talking, to say the least, and Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige has revealed how much work it took to put that together. The credits stinger saw Venom and Eddie Brock seemingly shift realities into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where they witness Spider-Man (Tom Holland) get his identity revealed on TV by J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons).

Speaking with THR to promote Eternals the Marvel Studios president was asked how the scene came about and noted that it took a lot of working together from all parties.

“There was a lot of coordination — and if you don’t know all the coordination yet, I’m not going to be the one to tell you,” Feige said. “But yes, between Sony and Marvel and the Venom team and the No Way Home team. We worked together on it.”

Feige predictably declined to discuss what the scene means for Venom and the MCU, though it seems like we could see Venom appearing alongside Spidey at some point. The film has been a hit for Sony and Marvel, grossing $169.4 million domestically and $284.7 million so far in 19 days. It is exclusively available in theaters right now.
