Kit Harington Joins The Cast of Marvel’s The Eternals
The cast of The Eternals is proving to be a true ensemble piece, and that’s something the newest addition should be used to. At the panel for Disney’s films today at D23, it was announced that Kit Harington has joined the cast of the film, where he will play Dane Whitman, also known as the Black Knight. In the comics, Whitman is also a love interest of Sersi, played by Gemma Chan in this film.
The Eternals is part of Marvel’s Phase 4 and will be released on November 6, 2020. It also stars Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Lia McHugh as Sprite and Don Lee as Gilgamesh. It is directed by Chloe Zhao from a script by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

For clarification, Kit Harington is playing Dane Whitman, aka The Black Knight, for @MarvelStudios in The Eternals. Not sure if they are setting him up for later films. It almost seems like they are building up to West Coast Avengers. #Marvel #D23Expo #KitHarington @DisneyD23
