List of Directors Revealed For The Mandalorian

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed the list of directors for Jon Favreau’s Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian. It will include actress Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. Other directors listed are Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Deborah Chow (Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Dave Filoni (Star Wars: the Clone Wars).

Here’s a synopsis: Lucasfilm has been mum on details so far but earlier this week issued the following synopsis: “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The series will be exclusive to the Disney streaming app when it launches sometime in 2019.
