Liv Tyler Returning As Betty Ross For Captain America: New World Order

Liv Tyler is making her return to the MCU, reprising her role as Betty Ross in Captain America: New World Order. Deadline reports that Tyler will reprise the role she played in The Incredible Hulk in the upcoming film, which will be Anthony Mackie’s first solo film as Sam Wilson taking on the role of Cap.

Betty Ross is the daughter of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by William Hurt in previous films. Harrison Ford is taking on the role moving forward, reportedly appearing in New World Order and the upcoming Thunderbolts.

Tyler joins a cast that includes Mackie, , Carl Lumbly, Danny Ramirez, and Shira Haas. Plot details are being kept under wraps for the film, which Julius Onah is directing from a script by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The film is currently shooting and is set to release on May 3rd, 2024.
