Lucasfilm Drops New Trailer & Key Art for Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Disney and Lucasfilm dropped a brand-new trailer and some key artwork today for the upcoming original animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch. The upcoming series debuts on Tuesday, May 4 on Disney+.
Additionally, the show is set to launch with a special 70-minute premiere. Following the premiere movie, new episodes will debut every Friday starting May 7.
The series will be executive produced by The Clone Wars creator Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, and Jennifer Corbett. Meanwhile, Carrie Beck will serve as co-executive producer, and Josh Rimes as producer. Rau also serves as supervising director, with Corbett attached as head writer. Here’s a synopsis:
Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
