Mark Ruffalo revealed that he got a talking to by Marvel’s higher-ups after he streamed footage from Thor: Ragnarok. During a roundtable discussion with his fellow original Avengers castmates for EW, Ruffalo was asked what the biggest thing he’s ever spoiled about an MCU film.

“What about when you streamed the first 10 minutes of Thor: Ragnarok?,” Scarlett Johansson offered. After Downey said that had to be it, Ruffalo acknowledged, “That was the one that got me the call from up high.”

He added that while he thought he might get fired for the leak, “It sort of turned around on me, because when I came to work on Monday [on the set of Endgame] everyone ran up to me. I thought they were coming to scream at me — Barry [Curtis, Marvel’s security manager], he threw his arms around me. “That was genius! We got more press than we could have possibly paid for!”

He won’t have to worry about potentially spoiling much soon enough, as Avengers: Endgame opens on April 26th.
