Marvel Pauses Production On Thunderbolts Due To Writer’s Strike

Marvel Studios has put a pause on production plans for Thunderbolts amid the writer’s strike. Deadline reports that the studios has paused their plans on the upcoming production, which was set to begin filming three weeks from now in Atlanta.

The report notes that the crew was notified of the pause on Thursday, with the plan being to resume production once the strike ends. Marvel previously put pauses on pre-production for Blade and production on its Wonder Man series due to the WGA strike, with the plan being to pick back up when the situation is resolved.

Thunderbolts stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan, Hannah Jon-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kerleynko, Yuen, and Ayo Edebiri. It is currently set to release on July 26th, 2024.
