Marvel Studios Announces Cast of X-Men at D23, Inde Navarrette To Play Rogue & Adam Driver Portrays Mr. Sinister

During Day 1 of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan event last night, Marvel Studios made multiple announcements and reveals during its showcase presentation at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was joined onstage by Sadie Sink, who recently debuted as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and will reprise her role in the MCU’s new X-Men reboot, and director Jake Schreier.

They also welcomed Sink’s new castmates to the stage, revealing the first members of the new X-Men for the movie, along with the villain. Sink will star alongside Kit Connor as Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Maya Boyd as Storm, and breakout Obsession star Inde Navarrette will portray Rogue.

Star Wars star Adam Driver also appeared in a special pre-recorded video, announcing that he will portray Nathaniel Milbury, one of the aliases in the comics for the X-Men villain, Mr. Sinister.

As previously reported, other versions of Marvel’s Merry Band of Mutants will also appear in Avengers: Doomsday, with multiple actors of the previous X-Men film franchise produced by 20th Century Fox appearing in the film. However, now Marvel Studios is finally setting up its own group of mutants for the mainline MCU.

The currently untitled X-Men movie is slated for a May 5, 2028 release. You can view clips of the cast reveal at the D23 presentation below:
