Paramount+ will be getting a couple of big blockbusters early, with both Mission: Impossible 7 and A Quiet Place Part II arriving 45 days after they open in theaters. It was announced at the TCA Winter Press Tour on Wednesday (per Deadline) that the two films will arrive on the service a month and a half after they release on screens. That means that A Quiet Place Part II, which hits screens on September 17th, will arrive on November 2nd. The Mission: Impossible film will arrive in theaters on November 19th and on Paramount+ on January 3rd, 2022.

Both films have been delayed from their original release dates due to the pandemic. A Quiet Place Part II was set to arrive on March 20th, 2020 before being pushed out to Labor Day, and then to the current release date. Mission: Impossible 7 was originally set to bow on July 23rd but was delayed to November. Paramount is following in the footsteps of WarnerMedia and Disney, who have used HBO Max and Disney+ as a release venue for their theatrical films. However, where those studios have been releasing some films strictly on streaming or day-and-date with theaters (albeit with a Premiere cost for Disney’s Mulan and Raya And the Last Dragon), Paramout is allowing the films time to gross money in theaters before coming to streaming.

Also arriving on the service 45 days after its theatrical release is the animated Paw Patrol film, which hits theaters on August 20th.
