Moana 2 Makes Its Disney+ Debut on March 12

The hit Disney animated sequel, Moana 2, will make its streaming debut next month on Disney+. Walt Disney Studios announced the news on the hit animated feature earlier today.
Moana 2 became the #3 highest-grossing film of last year, making more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office. It became the fourth Walt Disney Animation Studio feature to reach that milestone following Frozen, Zootopia, and Frozen 2.
The sequel features the return of Auliʻi Cravalho as Princess Moana and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the demigod Maui, set three years after their previous adventure. The duo set upon a new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. Moana answers a call from her wayfinding ancestors and goes on a perilous journey unlike anything she has faced before.
The sequel is directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller. It’s produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino, with music by Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, Opetaia Foaʻi, and Mark Mancina. A new TV spot for the film’s streaming release is also available below:
