Namor Actor Tenoch Huerta Teases His Role In Avengers: Doomsday

One of the many MCU actors returning for Avengers: Doomsday is Tenoch Huerta, who played Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In an interview with La Resolana (via Screenrant), Huerta gave more insight into his role in the film and teased what is next for the Sub-Mariner.

He said: “In truth, the dynamic is different now because there are like 25 characters in the story, which means that each of our roles are smaller. It’s more condensed because we have to make room for all the characters and universes involved. That makes it simpler in terms of the work and effort put into it [by me personally].”

The conversation then turned to the romantic relationship between Namor and Sue Storm in the comics. When asked about it, Huerta said: “That’s the comics. You’ll have to watch the movie.” However, he did note that Vanessa Kirby, who plays Storm is a “great co-worker.”

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in December 2026.
