Netflix Bows First Trailer For Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein

Guillermo del Toro’s take on Frankenstein will arrive in November, and the first trailer shows off Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi as the man and his creation. Netflix revealed the trailer at their Tudum event on Saturday; you can check it out below.

The trailer focuses on Victor Frankenstein (Issac) as it follows the plot of the iconic Mary Shelley novel. We see hints of Mia Goth’s character and Victor’s bloody experiments to create life, including the revival of his creation (Elordi) and scenes from the Arctic as the creation seeks revenge.

The film is set to release in November and is written and directed by Del Toro, who has long spoken of how Frankenstein was a seminal film from his childhood and that he has wanted to make his own take on the story for years. It stars Isaac, Elordi, Goth, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz.
