Netflix’s The Gray Man did well enough this past weekend that the studio is moving ahead with a sequel and a spinoff film. THR reports that the Russo Brothers’ spy action film, which arrived on Netflix on Friday, is getting both a follow-up and a spinoff.

Ryan Gosling, who plays the titular character (aka Court Gentry), will be back for the sequel as will the Russos in the director’s chairs. Stephen McFeely, who co-wrote the first film’s script, will right the follow-up.

Meanwhile, details being the spinoff are being kept quiet but Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Deadpool) will write the script.

The Gray Man was a big financial swing by Netflix, who budgeted the adaptation of the Mark Greaney spy thrillers at $200 million. Netflix announced on Tuesday that the gamble paid off, with the film scoring 88.55 million hours viewed in its first three days. The movie has received middling scores from critics with a 48% aggregate score on Rotten Tomatoes, but audiences have taken to it with a 91% RT audience score.

The film is described also stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, with Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura and Alfre Woodard. It is described as follows:

The Gray Man is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.
