New Bodies Bodies Bodies Trailer Explains the Rules of the Game

A24’s new horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies is just a month away, and a new trailer reveals the rules of the movie’s titular game. A24 released the new trailer for Halina Reijn’s film on Tuesday ahead of its August 12th wide release (and August 5th in select theaters).

The film stars Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Myha’la Herrold, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, with Lee Pace and Pete Davidson, and is directed by Reijn from a script by Sarah DeLappe (based on a story by Kristen Roupenian). The synopsis reads:

When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong.
