The global anime sensation is back. Crunchyroll debuted a new trailer today for the next theatrical chapter in the Demon Slayer saga. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle will be hitting theaters in September, and you can check out the new English dub trailer below.
Based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, Infinity Castle begins the final phase of the epic saga, as Tanjiro Kamado and his allies in the Demon Slayer Corps begin their final battle against the demon lord, Muzan Kibutsuji, and his most elite warriors. It also looks like Tanjiro will now have to confront Akaza, the demon who defeated his fellow warrior, the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, in Mugen Train.
Infinity Castle will be the first of a three-part cinematic trilogy that concludes Gotouge’s beloved storyline. The first theatrically released Demon Slayer movie, Mugen Train, became the most successful anime movie of all time, grossing over $507 million at the worldwide box office and $49 million domestically.
Haruo Sotozaki directs the new feature, which adapted from the “Infinity Castle” arc of Gotouge’s manga. Infinity Castle hits theaters across North America, both subbed and dubbed, on September 12. The film will also be released in IMAX theaters. Infinity Castle will be hitting theaters in Japan first on July 18 ahead of the North American release.
