New Featurette Released For Mile 22

STX Films has released a new featurette for the action thriller Mile 22, which will be released on August 3. The film was directed by Peter Berg from a script by Lea Carpenter, based on a story by Graham Roland and Carpenter. It stars Mark Wahlberg, John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais and Ronda Rousey. Berg (Film 44), Wahlberg (Closest to the Hole) and Stephen Levenson (Leverage) will produce with John Logan Pierson executive producing.

Here’s a synopsis: Wahlberg stars as James Silva, an operative of the CIA’s most highly-prized and least-understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva must retrieve and transport an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 for extraction before the enemy closes in.
