New Trailer For The Acolyte Digs Deeper Into High Republic Story

Disney has released a new trailer for the Star Wars series The Acolyte, which gives more details on the story. The series is set during the High Republic, long before the events of any of the Star Wars films. It follows an investigation that happens after a Jedi is found murdered, which may uncover a larger conspiracy.

The series stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Carrie-Anne Moss, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman and Joonas Suotamo. Leslye Headland created the series and serves as showrunner. It will debut with a two-episode premiere on June 4 on Disney+.
