Olivia Wilde is jumping into Sony’s Marvelverse, signing a deal to develop and direct an untitled, female-centric movie under the banner. Variety reports that Wilde will develop the film, with the script being written by Katie Silberman (Booksmart).

There’s no word on which character that the film will focus on, but speculation is that the studio has been focusing on Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew). There are also the likes of Spider-Gwen, Mary-Jane Watson, Black Cat, Silver Sable, and others. Black Cat and Silver Sable were previously set up as a potential film at Sony previously, and Spider-Gwen has appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Wilde made her directorial debut with Booksmart, which released to criticial acclaim last year.
