Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Sequel The Adventures of Cliff Booth Gets Super Bowl Trailer

Brad Pitt is back in his Once Upon A Time In Hollywood role with The Adventures of Cliff Booth, and a surprise trailer for the film dropped at the Super Bowl. Netflix aired a spot during the Big Game for the new movie, which sees David Fincher directing from a script by Once Upon A Time In Hollywood writer-director Quentin Tarantino.

The trailer features Pitt in his role as Cliff, the stuntman to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton in the original film, being questioned about his fictionalized takedown of the Manson Family members at the end of that movie. “So you helped Rick subdue those hippy intruders?,” asks Elizabeth Debicki’s character. “Something like that,” he replies. When she questions whether there’s more to it (there was), he replies, “I don’t possess many talents, but I know better than getting away of a good story.”

The trailer doesn’t reveal much about the film’s plot, though he appears to be caught up in some sort of hijinks. You can check it out below.

It was reported last April that Fincher was taking on the film from a script Tarantino directed as a follow-up to Once Upon a Time. Timothy Olyphant is also back from the first film, reprising his role as Lancer star James Stacy. New cast members include Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Corey Fogelmanis, and JB Tadena.

The film does not yet have an announced release date.
