Paramount+ In Talks For Frasier Revival
Frasier might just be returning to the airwaves thanks to Paramount+. TV Line reports that the iconic 1990s and early ’00s sitcom is currently in early talks to be brought back for a revival at the Paramount streaming service.
The original series ran from 1993 to 2004 and was a spin-off from Cheers. It starred Kelsey Grammer as the titular psychiatrist, who moves back home and becomes a radio talk show host as he interacted with his family. It earned a total of 108 Emmy nominations with 37 wins and also starred Jane Leeves, David Hyde Pierce, Peri Gilpin, and John Mahoney.
Discussions are early at this point, though the series has been in development since 2018 with Grammer actively involved. Paramount+ is the service that CBS All Access will rebrand to on March 4th.
