Pedro Pascal Set to Star in The Mandalorian

Pedro Pascal will star as the lead in the Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Variety reports that Pascal was one of many stars considered to take on the lead role and is now in talks to star in the series, which Jon Favreau created and will executive produce.

Set after the fall of the Empire and before the First Order surfaced, The Mandalorian follows a lone gunfighter (Pascal) in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic. It will air on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, which launches next year.
