Reacher Renewed for Fifth Season Ahead of Season 4 Debut

Jack Reacher will continue fighting bad guys and righting wrongs for a fifth season. Ahead of Amazon’s Prime Video upfront presentation this week, the streamer announced that the global hit series Reacher has been renewed for a fifth season ahead of the show’s Season 4 premiere.

The series is one of the top-performing franchises on the platform. Reacher Season 4 does not have a debut date, but it’s slated to launch on Prime Video later this year.

Season 4 once again features star Alan Ritchson reprising his eponymous role as Jack Reacher. Prime Video also confirmed that more details on Season 4 will be revealed at a later date.

Season 3 of the hit series reached 54.6 million viewers globally on Prime Video in its first 19 days and stands out as the most-watched season on the service since Fallout Season 1 over the same timeframe. All three seasons of the show are available to stream now on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Season 4 of the show is based on Gone Tomorrow, Lee Child’s 13th book in his best-selling saga. During Season 4, Reacher has a chance meeting with a distraught stranger on a subway that goes horribly wrong. Reacher is then drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power.

New cast members in Season 4 include Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Roberston.

Reacher Returns for Season 4 Later This Year

Reacher is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. It’s written for television by Nick Santora, who also executive-produces the series and serves as showrunner.

Original author Lee Child also serves as an executive producer with Ritchson, alongside Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, Lisa Kussner, Sam Hill, Amy Pocha & Seth Cohen.

Reacher Season 4 debuts on Prime Video later on. The first Reacher spin-off, Neagley, is also slated to debut on Prime Video later.

The series will star Maria Sten, reprising her recurring role of Frances Neagley from the series. Ritchson will also appear as Jack Reacher in the spin-off.
