Release Date, Teaser Revealed For Percy Jackson And The Olympians

Percy Jackson And The Olympians has an official release date on Disney+ thanks to a new teaser. The service released the official teaser for the upcoming series adaptation of the Greek mythology-themed young adult series, which revealed that the show will premiere on December 20th. You can check out the teaser below, which gives us our first look at Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood. We also get a look at Adam “Edge” Copeland as Ares, the god of war, along with Glynn Turman as Mr. Brunner/Chiron and more.

The series is based on the Rick Riordan novel series, with Riordan writing the first two episodes alongside co-showrunner Jon Steinberg. The rest of the cast includes Lin-Manuel Miranda, Megan Mullally, Toby Stephens, the late Lance Reddick, Jason Mantzoukas, Jay Duplass, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Olivea Morton, Suzanne Cryer, Timm Sharp and Timothy Omundson.
