It was another week on top the box office for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson with his newest film, Rampage. Per Box Office Mojo, the new giant monster movie topped the box office this weekend and took an estimated $34.5 million for first place.

Rampage was able to hold off A Quiet Place from potentially taking the top slot again this week. The hit horror movie was riding a ton of momentum after a gigantic opening weekend grossing $50 million and great word of mouth. In fact, A Quiet Place still had a tremendous second weekend. The film dropped only 35 percent to bring in about $32.6 million for its second weekend, bringing its domestic total to $99.6 million.

That’s off a budget of $17 million. The film is currently sitting at $151 million worldwide, so A Quiet Place is doing pretty tremendous.

Rampage didn’t fare great with critics, getting a 50 percent “Rotten” score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the film has an A- CinemaScore and an 80 percent user rating, so it appears to be doing well with audiences. While the film opened No. 1, it will only have one more weekend to bring in significant returns since Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27. The film is based on the classic 1986 video game and has a reported production budget of $120 million.

Additionally, the film performed very well overseas. It brought in $114 million internationally to bring its current worldwide total to $148 million. This clearly won’t be as big of a hit as San Andreas or Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. However, it will do a lot better than The Rock’s more lukewarm outings, Baywatch and Hercules.

Elsewhere, the new Blumhouse horror film, Truth or Dare, also had a strong opening weekend. The new horror film finished at third place with $19.1 million. Despite getting terrible reviews with a 15 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, the film still managed to find an audience.

Also, Steven Spielberg’s latest film, Ready Player One, dropped to fourth place, bringing in $11.2 million. Its domestic total currently sits at $114.6 million.
