Rocky vs. Drago: The Ultimate Director’s Cut to Screen in Theaters Nationwide in November

MGM and Fathom Events have announced that Rocky vs. Drago: The Ultimate Director’s Cut, Sylvester Stallone’s new cut of Rocky IV, will be released in theaters nationwide for one night only on November 11. You can check out the trailer for the upcoming re-release below. Tickets for the theatrical event are now available at FathomEvents.com.

The theatrical event will feature 40 minutes of never-before-seen footage, along with a special live Q&A with director, writer and star Sylvester Stallone. The Q&A with Stallone will be shown in select movie theaters nationwide, and audiences will also be able to see a behind-the-scenes look at the recut of the film. Following the limited theatrical release, the recut will then digital VOD on November 12.

Rocky IV was first released in 1985 and is the highest grossing of all the Rocky films. It also stars Brigitte Nielsen, Burt Young, Carl Weathers, Dolph Lundgren, Michael Pataki, Robert Doornick, Stu Nahan, Talia Shire and Tony Burton. Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff produced the original film, with Arthur Chobanian and James D. Brubaker serving as executive producers. In the film, Rocky Balboa faces his most dangerous opponent yet, Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren).
