Roseanne Barr Has A Theory On How She’ll Be Killed In The Conners

The Los Angeles Times reports that during an event titled “Is America a Forgiving Nation?”, Roseanne Barr revealed that she thinks that her character will die of an opioid overdose in the upcoming spin-off show The Conners. Here are highlights:

On getting fired from the show: “It physically defeated me, and I was just leveled. It was so depressing, like a death.”

On being forgiven: “The joy is in knowing what you did wrong. It’s the bravery and courage and self-reflection to get down to it and make it as right as you can. I’m someone who is interested in healing my own soul.”

On her character dying via opioid overdose: “I’m not 100% sure, but my spies there, they said that. The whole thing is just so sad. It’s all so sad. I’m just gonna keep on, having a great life.”
