Ryan Gosling Teeters Over the Edge in Latest Trailer for The Fall Guy

Universal Pictures dropped the latest trailer today for the big-screen version of The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling. The latest trailer for the upcoming action comedy is available below.

Gosling portrays Colt Seavers, in the role previously portrayed by Lee Majors in the original series. In the new film, Seavers is a battle-scarred stuntman who left the business a year earlier to focus on his physical and mental health. He’s then drafted back into service to work on a mega-budget studio movie directed by his ex-girlfriend, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt). However, the star of the film, Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), soon goes missing.

With the film’s ruthless producer (Hannah Waddingham) looking to keep the disappearance of Ryder a secret from the studio and the media, Colt now has to spring into action to discover the missing star’s whereabouts and hopefully salvage the production. As the mystery deepens, Colt finds himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that pushes him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.

The Fall Guy is directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce based on the Glen A. Larson-created series and also stars Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham, and Stephanie Hsu. It hits theaters on May 2.
