Ryan Reynolds To Star In Clue Remake

Deadline reports that Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort label has signed a three-year first look deal with 20th Century Fox, which will include a remake of Clue.

Maximum Effort will produce with Hasbro’s film division Allspark Pictures. Fox is also in talks with Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are also in talks to script the film. Reynolds will star in the film, which will be “based on the mythology of the venerable board game.”

The next film from Reynolds, Reese and Wernick is Deadpool 2 on May 18, directed by David Leitch.
