Scary Movie Reboot Set For Summer 2026 Release

Paramount Pictures’ reboot of the Scary Movie franchise has set a release date for next summer. Marlon Wayans announced on Instagram that the studio has dated the new film in the franchise for June 12th, 2026.
The new film features a script by Marlon, Shawn and Keenen Ivory Wayans. No director or cast have yet been announced for the film, which was announced at CinemaCon last year.
The franchise was a lucrative one for Dimension Films and Miramax, grossing $896.6 million worldwide amongst the first five entries that released between 2000 and 2006.
