Amazon’s new series delving into the dark side of superheroism is getting a second season before the first season has even begun. The service announced during The Boys’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday that the show has been renewed for a second run. The first season is set to bow on July 26th on Amazon Prime.

The series is based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book, in which superheroes have gone corrupt and take advantage of their powers in ways that threaten the world. Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) runs a group of vigilantes known as The Boys, who watch over the heroes and eliminate them if need be.

In addition, Aya Cash (You’re the Worst) has joined the cast for season two as Stormfront. In the comics, Stormfront is a racist “hero” who hides his origin of being first successful super soldier of the Third Reich.
