Netflix has revealed a teaser for Squid Game season two, confirming the premiere date as well as the third season being its last. The service released the teaser on Wednesday for the second season of the global hit Korean thriller, and you can check it out below.

The teaser confirms that the second season will release on December 26th, with the third and final season coming in 2025. That last bit was confirmed in an announcement.

The new season sees Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo return alongside new cast members Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an. The second season is described as follows:

Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 remains determined to find the people behind the game and put an end to their vicious sport. Using this fortune to fund his search, Gi-hun starts with the most obvious of places: look for the man in a sharp suit playing ddakji in the subway. But when his efforts finally yield results, the path toward taking down the organization proves to be deadlier than he imagined: to end the game, he needs to re-enter it.

The first season remains Netflix’s biggest hit series to date with 265.2 million views and 2.2 billion hours viewed in its first 91 days.
