Starz is developing one or more spinoffs of their hit drama Power. The show will air its final season next year.

Starz is developing one or more spinoffs of their hit drama Power. Creator and showrunner Courtney A. Kemp took to Twitter to reveal that there are “spinoffs coming atcha” of the series, which will air its final season next year.

Lionsgate said in a press release that Kemp has signed a development and production deal with the company and will work on “potential projects inspired by the world of Power.”

“I’m incredibly proud of the success we’ve had with Power and I’m excited about expanding our banner and diversifying the types of stories we’re telling,” Kemp said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to exploring new ways of writing about my obsession: the intersections of violence, power, sex and romance.”
