CBS Films and Lionsgate released the first short TV spots from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark during the Super Bowl. You can see the quick spots below, teasing the horrors to be seen in the film. It stars Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Lorraine Toussaint, Austin Zajur, and Natalie Ganzhorn and opens on August 9th.

Inspired by the book by Alvin Schwartz, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark follows a group of young teens who must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town.
