Superman Reaches Box Office Milestone

Superman has hit rarified air when it comes to superhero movies. The James Gunn film has topped $600 million worldwide at the box office, now sitting at $605.3 million. The film has also hit Warner Bros.’s All-Time Domestic Top 10, with $347 million and, according to Luiz Fernando, is the 10th superhero movie to top $600 million since COVID.

The film has been a success by all measures when considering its $225 million budget, though it is unlikely to top Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel which currently sits at $670.1 million (though Superman has surpassed Man of Steel domestically, as Man of Steel finished at $291 million domestically).
