Superman Saves the Day in Official Trailer Release

DC Studios debuted the new trailer for the upcoming Superman, the new studios upcoming first feature film. The new trailer showcases more action and more of the film’s plot. James Gunn helms the new vision of the original superhero in the newly imagined DC Universe, showcasing a Superman driven by compassion on an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.

The upcoming reboot stars David Corenswet at Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Wendell Pierce, María Gabriela de Faría, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. It’s executive produced by Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars Winther.

DC Studios heads Peter Safran and Gunn are producing the project, and Gunn directs from his own screenplay. Behind the scenes, Gunn is joined by longtime collaborators, including Henry Braham as his director of photography, production designer Beth Mickle, costume designer Judianna Makovsky, and composer John Murphy, along with composer David Fleming, editors William Hoy, Jason Ballantine, and Craig Alpert.

The film hits theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 11. It will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures internationally beginning July 9.
