Terminator: Dark Fate Earns R Rating From MPAA

The new Terminator film is officially the first movie of the franchise since 2003 to be an R-rated film. The MPAA has handed down its rating for Terminator: Dark Fate and it received an R rating for “violence throughout, language and brief nudity.”

The last film to receive an R was Terminator: Rise of the Machines. Terminator: Salvation and Terminator: Genisys were both PG-13 rated films. The movie stars Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Favis, Natalia Reyes, Diego Boneta, Gabriel Luna, and Edward Furlong and opens on November 1st.
