The 411mania Dumpster Fire of the Week

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest edition of The 411 Dumpster Fire of the Week. I’m Bryan Kristopowitz.

Okay, so I’m sure we’ve all, by now, seen the Coca-Cola Energy commercial that first aired during the 2020 Super Bowl where legendary movie director Martin Scorsese is waiting for actor Jonah Hill to show up at a party and it looks like Hill might not show up because he’s tired and he forgot and he needs a drink of Coca-Cola Energy? If you haven’t seen it, and I really don’t know how that’s possible if you watch anything on “regular” TV, here it is via YouTube:

Funny, isn’t it? Of course it is. It’s also kind of weird because why the hell would Martin Scorsese go to a party like the one depicted, which appears to be some sort of hip and edgy/weird beard costume party? Does Scorsese seem like the kind of guy that would go to a party like that? Jonah Hill? Yes, he seems like the kind of guy that would go to a party like that. He’s youngish, he’s hip and edgy, so there’s no issue with his presence at the party. But Scorsese?

No way. And if he ever did go to a party like that, would he go alone? Would he actually meet Jonah Hill there, or is it more likely that he would go with Hill, like in a limo or share an Uber or something? I don’t think Scorsese would go to that kind of party alone. He would wait for Hill.

And that’s why this commercial makes no sense.

It’s still funny, though. Do you think we’ll ever get a sequel to this commercial, perhaps one where Hill has to wait for Scorsese at a party of some sort? Maybe we’ll see that during the upcoming Olympics?

What do you guys think of this commercial? Does it make any sense to you? Do you think it’s funny?

And now onto this week’s Dumpster Fire of the Week.

This week, the 411 Dumpster Fire of the Week goes to ultra-right wing celebrity, businessperson, and professional fucking douchebag Donald Trump Jr., for his recent claim that Democrats want millions of people to die from the coronavirus so his father, President Trump, will lose the 2020 Presidential election. While appearing on a recent episode of the excruciating Fox News morning program Fox and Friends, the president’s oldest son claimed that recent Democratic criticism of the Trump administration’s handling of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in the United States was somehow proof of the Democrats hoping that millions of Americans die so his father will lose the upcoming presidential election.

Irresponsible? Yes. Complete and total bullshit? Absolutely. Surprising? Not really. Because when it comes to President Trump and his surrogates and followers, they always assume that any and all criticism of Big Don is somehow all part of the ongoing, multi-faceted, international deep state/globalist conspiracy to bring him down. It’s complete nonsense that has no basis in actual reality, but then why stop doing the same scam over and over again when it keeps working over and over again?

Exactly. As long as people keep believing this bullshit the Trump machine will not change tactics.

So what, exactly, did the evil Democrats say that was so outrageous that Don Jr. wants you to believe that the Democrats want millions of people to die? The Democrats, mainly Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, said that the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus issue was inadequate. The administration cut funding for the Centers for Disease Control in its budget. There didn’t appear to be a coordinated response among the various agencies responsible for virus containment. And what the President said about the coronavirus issue was different than what other members of the government were saying. If there was nothing to worry about, why should anyone prepare for something that, according to the President, isn’t that big of a deal in the first place, at least right now?

Yep. That all sounds like the Democrats openly hoping for millions of people to die so they can blame it all on Donald Trump, who is always the “real victim.” It doesn’t sound like members of the government questioning whether or not the country’s institutions are ready to deal with a growing crisis at all.

Jesus Christ.

Are the Republicans questioning the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus also part of the same evil cabal that just wants Big Don to fail?

I’ll say it again. Jesus Christ.

But what about the “Liberal” media? Isn’t the “Liberal” media just overhyping this thing, making people unnecessarily scared? Not from what I’ve seen. The “Liberal” media is just reporting what’s happening, and is reporting on what the administration is saying about what’s happening. It isn’t the “Liberal” media’s fault that none of it matches up.

And don’t you think that if Chuck Schumer, or Nancy Pelosi, or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or Adam Schiff, or, well, any major or minor Democratic politician or Democratic/liberal political personality had gone on TV or the radio or the internets and actually said that they hoped the coronavirus killed millions of people that the “Liberal” media would have reported on it? That story would be the lead story on every news chat show and news website in the world.

Donald Trump Jr. should be ashamed of himself and he should apologize for saying dangerous nonsense on TV. He should also apologize for engaging in the very behavior he claims his father’s political opposition is engaging in but, well, just isn’t. None of that will happen, though. The big scam is what’s most important.

And, hell, when people in power refuse to condemn this nonsense, why change anything?

As long as the scam keeps working…

And now for this week’s honorable mentions…

-Ultra-right wing radio personality, Dumpster Fire Hall of Famer, and full on professional loonbag Glenn Beck, for saying that the “Bernie Sanders revolution will lead to another holocaust.” Irresponsible? Yes. Total bullshit? Absolutely. Surprising? Not really. Because Glen Beck said that he Obama administration was going to lead to another holocaust. Did that happen?

Remember what I said above about using the same scam over and over again because it continues to work over and over again?

Jesus Christ.

Pete Buttigieg, former mayor of South Bend, Indiana and now apparently former 2020 Democratic candidate for President, for his ongoing flip out over Bernie Sanders, “socialism,” and how he didn’t feel that way not that long ago. Just go ahead and read the story at the link and ask yourself what the hell changed for Mayor Pete. Why are Bernie Sanders and “socialism” the end of democracy now when they weren’t before?

I swear to God, the Democrats are just looking for a way to fuck this whole thing up.

The people who flipped out online because country singer Garth Brooks was wearing a jersey with “Sanders” on the back of it and they all thought he was endorsing Senator Bernie Sanders for President, for flipping out because Garth Brooks was wearing a jersey with “Sanders” on the back of it. Brooks wasn’t endorsing a political candidate in the picture. Brooks was actually performing in Detroit and was wearing a Barry Sanders/Detroit Lions jersey. The people who thought Brooks was endorsing Bernie Sanders were outraged that “Brooks was getting political” and they were done with him, etc. One, why is it upsetting when a musician or a celebrity “gets political?” Are these Brooks fans unaware of Brooks’ songs “The Thunder Rolls,” a song about a wife shooting her abusive and cheating scumbag husband, or “We Shall Be Free,” which is pretty damn hippy dippy?

And I’d like to know if these same people also castigate Ted Nugent for “getting political” with his music or public stances and whatnot? Or Hank Williams, Jr.? I’m willing to bet that’s never happened.

-Pro wrestler Sandman, for his behavior at a recent indie wrestling event. Read the article at the link, watch the video, and ask yourself why anyone would hire this guy to appear at their show ever again.
