Title Unveiled For Next Godzilla X Kong Film

The next film in the Godzilla X Kong now has an official title. Warner Bros. and Legendary announced on Friday that the next film in their MonsterVerse franchise is titled Godzilla x Kong: Supernova. The reveal was made in a teaser to celebrate the start of production on the film, which you can see below.

The new film is directed by Grant Sputore (I Am Mother), with David Callaham and Michael Lloyd Green having written the script. Plot details are under wraps for the kaiju movie, which will star Kaitlyn Dever, Dan Stevens, Jack O’Connell, Matthew Modine, Delroy Lindo, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Sam Neill.

The film will follow on the events of Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, which released in March of 2024 and grossed $572.3 million worldwide against a $150 million budget. Supernova will release on March 26th, 2027.
