Tom Cruise was not a happy man after he observed two crew members breaking COVID-19 protocols on the set of Mission: Impossible 7, going off on them in a leaked audio. The Sun posted the audio of Cruise snapping at two crew members in a tirade after he saw them violating social distancing protocols by standing closely together at a computer monitor on the London set of the film, dropping several expletives and telling them that they would be fired if he saw it again.

“If I see you do it again, you’re f***ing gone,” Cruise yells in the audio, which you can hear below. “And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it — and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.”

Cruise is a producer on the film and helped develop the protocols for the film, which has been shooting in multiple countries and had some reported COVID-19 issues during the Italy portion of the shoot that caused a two-day shutdown. Deadline reports that in addition to his work on the film, Cruise has been spending his off-time advising productions and studios on how to film under COVID protocols. In the audio he notes this, saying, “They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. Because they believe in us and what we’re doing. I’m on the phone with every f—ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies.” He adds that industry is deeply hurting right now, with people losing their homes as a result of the fact that most of the industry is shut down.

Mission: Impossible 7 was one of the first blockbusters to resume production after nearly all films were shut down in February. The film is currently set to release on November 19th, 2021.
