The Uncharted movie actually made it to production, but just barely thanks to the novel coronavirus. Tom Holland revealed in a video posted to Instagram featuring Justin Beiber that the long-awaited video game adaptation was shut down over viral concerns on the first day.

Holland, who is set to star as a young Nathan Drake, said in the Q&A (per Joblo):

Assuming the film completes production and post-production on time (by no means a sure thing considering the delay), the film is supposed to release on March 5th, 2021. It follows a young Nathan (Holland) on his adventures and co-stars Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Banderas and Tati Gabrielle
