First Trailer For Rogue One Prequel Series Andor Sets the Stage For Rebellion

The first trailer for Disney+’s Star Wars: Rogue One prequel series Andor is online, showing the beginnings of the Rebellion against the Empire. Disney+ released the trailer for the series on Thursday at Star Wars Celebration, and you can see the preview below along with the show’s poster.

The series features the return of Diego Luna as Cassian Andor alongside Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough and Kyle Soller. The show premieres with the first two of 12 episodes on August 31st on Disney+, and is described as follows:

The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
